Collaborating with some of our sporting partners such as Cricket Australia, Collingwood Football Club, Melbourne United and Melbourne Victory, SEDA offers a diploma program connected to sport and business.  We have an exciting opportunity for an inspiring and enthusiastic Industry Diploma Operations Manager who loves being a hands-on leader and will ensure this program hits the ground as is intended.  

Reporting to the General Manager, Training Operations you will bring your warmth, authenticity, and passion for excellence as you successfully inspire, lead and coach the Diploma teachers to provide an exceptional education experience where students feel connected, empowered, and supported. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • overseeing the facilitation, training, and assessment of the Diploma program;
  • ensuring a positive and engaged student journey for the Diploma programs;
  • effectively lead and manage a team of staff in the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative and compliant programs;
  • objectively assess the capacity of the teaching staff to engage students, develop knowledge and skills, and deliver quality training outcomes; and
  • championing our positive and engaged workplace culture.

You will be joining SEDA as a pivotal part of the Training Operations team, so it is critical that you have a qualification in education, and extensive experience teaching/training students in senior secondary, vocational and/or higher education settings.
