SEDA Group Teacher – NT

SEDA Group has a rare opportunity for an experienced and committed Teacher to join our SEDA NT team on a fixed term contract. You will be responsible for assessment, facilitating and training within the Sport Development Program. The position is based at an approved venue within the local community.

You will be joining SEDA as a pivotal part of a dedicated and successful Operations team reporting into a Program Coordinator. This is an important role, so it goes without saying that your qualifications in education, coupled with your experience mentoring young people in the sport and recreational industry will be vital. You will demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements and your ability to work with and build professional relationships with all stakeholders including young people, parents and colleagues is critical.

You will have strong interpersonal skills, well developed communication techniques including presentation and facilitation skills. Your self-confidence, positive attitude and initiative will enable you to build relationships and solve problems as you work independently or as a team member to achieve objectives and positive outcomes. You will be a role model for our SEDA values of professionalism, innovation, integrity and collaboration, as you demonstrate high level organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload, meet deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances.
