For students accessing and are eligible for the Skills First Program funding, by enrolling in the SIS50321 Diploma of Sport and BSB50120 Diploma of Business your future training options and eligibility for government subsidised training may be affected.

The student tuition fees published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Students should refer to their individual Statement of Fees/Course Information Brochure for tuition fee confirmation provided prior to enrolment. # HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is delivered through an external provider in a fee for service arrangement only at the cost of $195.00 which is in addition to the tuition fees listed above. For students that already hold HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and provide a copy of their certificate (Statement of Attainment) a credit transfer will be applied, and no fee will be applicable. For students that do not already hold this certificate the above fee will apply, and an enrolment will be processed separately into HLTAID011 Provide First Aid through the external provider arranged by SEDA Group.

SEDA Group is an approved provider of VET Student Loans for the SIS50321 Diploma of Sport and BSB50120 Diploma of Business and therefore can offer the Commonwealth VET Student Loans scheme to eligible students to pay their tuition fees.
A VET Student Loan will not be approved for students who do not meet eligibility requirements. A VET Student Loan gives rise to a VETSL debt that continues to be debt due to the Commonwealth until it is repaid.
SEDA Group is an approved provider of the 2023 Standard VET Funding Contract – Skills First Program. For individuals who are eligible for the Skills First Program, the government will contribute to the cost of the tuition fees.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Skills First Program with SEDA Group (Victorian and Commonwealth Government-subsidised training), you must be either an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen or holder of a Permanent Visa, and:
Some exceptions apply for referred asylum seekers and victims of human trafficking and referred applicants for specified government training initiatives.
Eligibility is subject to sighting relevant evidence by a SEDA Group representative prior to enrolment.
We encourage individuals with disabilities to access government subsidised training.
Concession
All students who are listed on one of the following cards prior to commencement of training are eligible for the concession fee in their corresponding course category (excluding courses at the Diploma level).
• Commonwealth Health Care Card
• Pensioner Concession Card
• Veterans Gold Card
Concessions also apply to a dependant spouse or dependant child of a card holder.
All eligible (Skills First Program) Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders will pay the tuition concession amount for any course level (including Diploma).
Eligibility is subject to sighting relevant evidence by a SEDA Group representative prior to enrolment.
The concession tuition fee is 20% of the published Skills First Tuition Fee.
SEDA Group is approved to deliver publicly funded training under the Funded Activities Agreement in South Australia. Individuals who are eligible under the Funded Activities Agreement the Government of South Australian will contribute to the cost of training services.
Funded Programs
Traineeship in SIS30115 Certificate III in Sport and Recreation
Eligibility
To be eligible for subsidised training under the Funded Activities Agreement, you must:
• reside in South Australia; and
• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen; or
• be a permanent Australian resident; or
• hold an eligible visa
• and are :
o Enrolled in Year 10, 11 or 12 and employed in a Training Contract that combines VET and school based curriculum including SACE
o Enrolled in Year 11, 12 or 13 and are 16 years of age or turning 16 years of age in the current year of that enrolment, and
o Are undertaking SACE or equivalent and,
o Have completed a preparatory VET pathway
Eligibility is subject to sighting relevant evidence by a SEDA Group representative prior to enrolment. Additional eligibility requirements for traineeships apply visit www.skills.sa.gov.au/students/studying-vet-in-school for more information.
Indicative Fees
Tuition fee: $2,250.00 (full fee) $450.00 (concession fee)
SEDA College SA School-based Trainee Tuition fee: $297.00
There are no tuition fees for individual who are over the age of 16 and who are, or have been, under the Guardianship of the Minister for Education (or interstate equivalent) on any guardianship order. *Subject to sighting relevant evidence by a SEDA Group representative.
The tuition fees are indicative only and are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Additional fees may apply such as student service and incidental fees. Individuals should be aware that enrolling in the above programs may affect future training options and eligibility for government subsidised training.
Concession
Where a tuition fee is being charged directly to the student, a concession fee is available if:
• at the commencement of training the student holds a current:
o Health Care Card;
o Pensioner Concession Card; or
o Veteran Affairs Concession Card.
• the student is a Prisoner.
Eligibility is subject to sighting relevant evidence by a SEDA Group representative prior to enrolment.
Supported by Government of South Australia
SEDA Group is approved to deliver publicly funded training under the VET Delivered to Secondary Schools in the Northern Territory. Individuals who are eligible under the VET Delivered to Secondary Schools program the Northern Territory Government will contribute to the cost of training services.
To be eligible for subsidised training under VET Delivered to Secondary Schools program you must:
• be 15 years of age or older (exemptions may apply for individuals under 15 years of age); and
• enrolled in a government school or non-government school in the Northern Territory.
Limited funded places are available for the SIS20321 Certificate II in Sport Coaching. Eligibility is subject to sighting relevant evidence by a SEDA Group representative prior to enrolment.
