Qualification: BSB50120 Diploma of Business

Locations: Melbourne and Sydney CBD

Intake: February 2026

Course Duration:  40 weeks, including 28 weeks delivery over 4 x 7-week study blocks and 4 x 2 weeks practical placements.*

The Empower Her Future program will be delivered three days face to face, including two hours mentoring per week.

The BSB50120 Diploma of Business will comprise the 12 units of competency listed below.

  • BSBCRT511  –  Develop critical thinking in others
  • BSBFIN501 –  Manage budgets and financial plans
  • BSBOPS501 – Manage business resources
  • BSBSUS511 – Develop workplace policies and procedures for sustainability
  • BSBXCM501 – Lead communication in the workplace
  • BSBTEC403 – Apply digital solutions to work processes
  • BSBTEC404 – Use digital technologies to collaborate in a work environment
  • BSBXCS402 – Promote Workplace cybersecurity awareness and best practice
  • BSBTEC501 – Develop and implement an e-commerce strategy
  • BSBTEC601 –  Review organisational digital strategy
  • BSBOPS601 – Develop and implement business plans
  • BSBPMG430 –  Undertake project work

The BSB50120 Diploma of Business has no pre-requisites, however, to be eligible for this program individuals must be able to satisfy the following:

  • Successfully complete a SEDA Group Pre-Training Review
  • Successfully complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) test issued by SEDA Group
  • Provide evidence of eligibility identification and other specified evidence as per SEDA Group’s Enrolment Process
  • Be at least 18 years old at the time of course commencement
