Our staff are accomplished, passionate, collaborative, innovative and engaged with the education of our students, and their professional learning.  We have a unique opportunity for dynamic and personable Trainer and Accessor specialising in Business to teach in our Fremantle Dockers and/or Perth Wildcats Sport & Business dual Diploma program in a part time role.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing an engaging program of learning within the Diploma of Business program with strong connections to our program partner, Fremantle Dockers and/or Perth Wildcats;
  • Creating a suite of impactful student experiences that align to the curriculum;
  • Successfully contributing to the development and delivery of strategic industry projects to ensure quality outcomes for students and for the Fremantle Dockers and/or Perth Wildcats;
  • Providing mentoring and guidance with respect to employment or further study pathways;
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for students; and
  • Contributing to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of our program and identifying opportunities for growth.

At SEDA Group, we live our values of professionalism, collaboration, integrity and innovation.  You will be joining SEDA as a pivotal part of the education team, so it goes without saying that you will hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education. You will also hold a VET qualification/s in Business and will have teaching experience and whilst some industry experience in a sporting environment is desirable it is not essential. You will also have the ability to deliver excellence by taking personal accountability for achieving high quality outcomes, particularly with the management of outcomes for the Fremantle Dockers and/or the Perth Wildcats.

You will need a current driver’s licence and a current First Aid qualification (including CPR).
